One of my passions is book binding. I love every part of the process from creating the cover art to selecting and folding the paper to stitching the book.

I also love the organic nature of a coptic bound book and the hand made human touch inherent in every journal.

This is my most recent creation, with a sheet music and sixteenth note collage. It's 5 1/2 X 4 inches and is 3/4 inch thick. The book contains 100 deckled-edge pages in ivory and imperial & metric graph.
I love that it's Eco-Friendly. Recycled materials are incorporated throughout including covers of reclaimed board and recycled paper. All collage & binding materials are non toxic as well.
I've stuck with the turquoise, rust and golden pallete that inspires and drives me at the moment and let it take me to all corners of my studio!

Wow that is beautiful - you have such a talent for all things creative. Whenever I stop by your blog - I never know what I'm going to discover - it's always a treat. Thank you for sharing with us xxx
This journal is lovely. You did a beautiful job on it.
really nice job! I've never tried book binding, it looks like fun! I'm an INFJ as well LOL (have not seen anything about MB since grad school!)

Your journals are lovely...I love how they almost look like tie dye!
I do bookbinding as well...do you have much success selling them in your Etsy shop? I know it's difficult to price because it's handmade but harder to photograph and convey to your audience..
hi addictivecreative - they do sell, but slower than some other items for sure. As with most specialty items, it's a matter of the right person finding the book that matches their needs. The positive feedback from the recipient who appreciates book arts always makes it worthwhile!
Hello my friend!
I love what you have did here with this book. The way you have used the colors is wonderful. I love it!
Peace and love always,
